Re: “White America Has Lost Its Mind

Why in the world is anyone surprised that this kind of bat-shit comes out of Moredock? He's written the same bat-shit column in the same bat-shit paper for around 10 bat-shit years. And every liberal out there thinks the only problem people have with President Obama is his color, so that's nothing new either. John Q. Public has it right, it's not the president we should fear, he can be contained, it's the bat-shit public who elected an avowed communist who has never held a non-government funded job in his life to position of POTUS who we need to fear.

Re: “Voters ignore racial pleas in selecting candidates

I agree, well done Mr. Green. I also agree that I can never vote red, as in for the communists who have taken over the democrat party. I don't vote for republicans anymore either though, that party was taken over by religious zealots. Both spend like drunken sailors with a stolen credit card, and both seem to view the constitution as an impediment to their agendas. The main difference that I see between them is that the democrats would force you to look at a painting of elephant offal while the republicans wouldn't allow you to. If true conservatives (and no, conservative doesn't mean you think the bible trumps the constitution, just the opposite) can take the republican party back and show me some semblance of fiscal restraint they may start getting my votes again, and I believe that's possible. I don't really think the democrats will ever see reality again, they're just so far from rational that I can't see it, but it's possible the more moderate members could retake the party. At least the republicans actually see the disgust they've caused and are making an attempt at correcting their course, the democrats see the disgust they've created and just blame us for being disgusted.

Re: “After the primaries, it's time to assess

I don't get his surprise at Scotts wining. Tim Scott has always been a great candidate and has repeatedly been elected to his current post. I'm certainly not surprised at Moredocks surprise though, as he has never shown himself to be capable of rational thought. I haven't read the Charleston City Paper for years and was slightly surprised to see he still writes for them, but he was a buffoon then and after reading a few of his articles I see he's still the same old buffoon he always was. As far as Nikki Haley, I certainly hope she proves to be as smart as Mark Sanford was. He forecast this and tried to prepare us for it, and he was vilified, laughed at and scoffed at by both parties as they spent money borrowed not just from our children, but from their children. The state budget alone accounts for over $5,000 for each man, woman and child. For a family of 4 that should consist of $20,000 worth of services, paid for of course by taking $20,000 away from someone or borrowing it from someone. Thank goodness these idiots can't print money. And that doesn't even include the multitude of local, county, municipal and special district taxes. What we need is more Sanfords and fewer big spending party republicans and democrats.
