Madam Adam w/ Kiss Kiss, The Venetia Fair, Joel Summer

When: Fri., Feb. 12 2010
Price: $7, $9 (under 21)
After working on studio demos and wrangling with various piles of red tape, local rock band Madam Adam (formerly known as Red Handed) finally signed contracts and got the ball rolling with hard-rock label Roadrunner Records last year. Lead guitarist and vocalist Scott Gould, guitarist Drew Reindollar, drummer Matt Reindollar, and bassist Kenny Varner wrapped a recent recording session at Seven Forty Seven Studios in Memphis with producer Skidd Mills (Saving Abel, Saliva, Skillet) this winter. An as-yet untitled full-length debut is due in the summer. Roadrunner exec Ron Burman says, “I’m really excited to be working with Madam Adam. They have really catchy rock songs — the kind that I grew up listening to on rock radio. They write songs that stick in your head after one listen, which is rare. Scott, has a great voice and they are an exceptionally good live band.” Madam Adam perform at the Oasis with from Kiss Kiss and The Venetia Fair. —T. Ballard Lesemann
