The Footlight Players present, Love, Sex, & the IRS, a modern cross between I Love Lucy and Some Like it Hot, set in 1978 NYC. John Tracthman and Leslie Arthur are out-of-work musicians who live together and when tax season rolls around, John starts filing tax returns for the unemployed duo as a married couple in order to save money. However, when the Internal Revenue Service informs the couple they’re coming to investigate their marriage, things start to get sticky for the pair. Written by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, this production is directed by Joshua Bates.
