Local gamers get together for Halo contest

Kill 'em all

Play n' Trade in West Ashley celebrated their somewhat belated grand opening with a free Halo tournament last Saturday. One versus one rounds were played as contestants tried to kill each other as quickly and as often as possible. An overabundance of pizza and refreshments fueled the players during their 15 minute rounds. Michael Campbell owner of Captains Comics located only a few blocks away took home home first place bragging rites and a free copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for his Wii. I played a few rounds making sure to lose in order to establish my journalistic integrity, I swear it had nothing to do with my Halo abilities.
