Re: “Folly Beach Residents Report Police Harassment

First of all, the individuals comlaining of the "policing" on FB should stop and take a look at how ignorant they actually sound. People that know of the locals upset with how things are being run at Folly are mainly dopers and drunks. I like the comment from the guy who said they have been to court at Folly several times for parking violtions and "other sitations." Hmmm does it make you wonder why he may be on the dopers side! Of course, let's get a petition. What a joke! A petition for what? A crime is a crime, you're breaking the law! Food for thought. It would be interesting to know how may comments that have been posted are just people pissed off b/c they actually got caught! Wake up! Do the crime, pay the time! And one more thing, you know you're a drunk when you've got a cupholder on your bike.

Re: “Athens Restaurant & Grill

I've always been a huge fan of Athens and still am. The food is excellent in my opinion. The only time I was not pleased with their service was when my family had a 60th birthday party for my uncle. We had a party for 13 and were told we could not bring in a cake, but could buy one from them. In then end we were able to bring in a cake from outside but had to pay a $15 charge. I'm guessing it is a policy and must apply to all size parties. It has not stopped me from goin to Athens, but was just a thought.

I went to RPS last Friday for my birthday. What a let down. Well first off, I'm still suffering from food poisoning from the bbq chicken ques. What an awful feeling! Then, the two girls who went along with me were also dissatisfied. One got the filet special which was overcooked and also $25! Not bad if you were dining at Oak. The other got the tuna special which had a frozen taste. Well they say looks can be decieving and these certainly were. The place looks very inviting but I wouldn't recommend going.
