Here at the City Paper, we love a good pun. If that pun accompanies some tasty food, all the better. And thanks to Butcher & Bee’s dinner we’ll get both on Thursday. The a la carte menu will be solely vegetarian based. “Many things are entirely animal product free,” says sous chef Chelsey Conrad. And the main difference from the last vegetable dinner is the seasonality. “This one revolves around turnips, beets, and butternut squash,” Conrad adds. The hearty root veggies replace the lighter ones like summer squash and tomatoes. The menu will include four appetizers, a few sides, three entrees, and desserts.
