If noise is the problem I can understand requiring a db level! The helmet law is a non-issue for me because law or not I will be wearing a helmet, just makes good sense. I respect others rights to not wear a helmet and don't see why they should be forced to considering it has no effect on anyone but themselves. I feel the same about seat belts. My problem is I am told I can't ride my on and off road motorcycle on private land, because of noise ordinances, yet my motorcycle meets every state db level requirement. Now some ill-informed, dogmatist journalist is trying to make riding a motorcycle on public roads more difficult for the law abiding citizens of the motorcycle community. Should I now think all journalist are like Mr. MOREDOCK and start a advocacy group (hate group) to ban journalist who's intentions are to belittle recreational activities in America and ultimately an entire sport?
