Re: “Reality show makeover might leave locals confused

Cork was great for many years and suddenly had a huge downturn in quality and consistence about a year ago. I was not surprised that they closed and was hoping for a new, fabulous restaurant in its place. However, this new re-incarnation is just as disappointing as Cork was before they closed. I was there 2 nights ago and was confused as mentioned in the article about the menu, the decor and it is definitely NOT a bar spot. The food is sub-standard and my friend and I actually sent an item back that was inedible. The overcooked pork belly was disappointing, too. Cannon/Cork is a restaurant with an identity crisis. Until the owner and management changes, the restaurant will not change. I don't see this place being open in 6 months.

Re: “North Charleston evicts trailer park residents

Have we forgotten what North Charleston did to the residents that lived on the property where the Coliseum and PAC are now located? This is not news how they treat poor people. Saying that...I live in Wando Woods and am glad to see the area cleaned up. My main concern is the additional traffic in and out of WW. I am not looking forward to the additional traffic going into and out of our neighborhood.

Re: “Billspotting

Bill's children go to the same school as my mine and he is just a regular dad, picking up, dropping off, going to sporting events, at fundraisers, etc. Great guy!!! But it is so hard not to go all stupid every time I see him....IT'S BILL MURRAY!!!

Re: “Charleston is not your garbage dump

Amen sista'! Coming back to Charleston from Midlands on Sunday, I saw an entire bag of Christmas trash, wrappings, etc, fall out of the back of a pick up and get hit by at least 3 cars sending litter all over I26. Sad, sad, sad...
