Re: “Activists tell Charleston bars, restos: We won't patronize you if you allow guns

Anyone can be a law abiding citizen until that one of shot of bourbon takes them to a point where inhibitions are limited. Law abiding or not and whether or not people carry guns into bars now, the last thing we should do is advocate for guns and booze to be mixed. Yes the penalty will be steep for those who carry guns and consume alcohol, but the penalty for the bartender who tries to cut off a drunk asshole with a gun could be much steeper. This is typical back-assward South Carolina rhetoric: "extends the rights of law-abiding citizens"? What gun rights need to be extended while you are eating and drinking in public? It's too hard to go home and put your gun away? Next up, all waiters, waitresses, buss boys and bartenders will be brandishing firearms too...why? Because the right-handed lead-happy nut jobs couldn't leave their guns in the car or at home. More guns=more bullets= more opportunities for tragedy. When will we learn?
