Maria Baldwin grows on Thornhill Farm in McClellanville and operates two stores. The first is located at the farm, and the second Kitchen Table Cuisine Market opened in August on Clements Ferry Road. Both locations stock many local products, which are also sold online via her KTC grocery service (see our story about it on p. 21. You can have an entire larder's worth of goods delivered to your house: free range chicken from Keegan-Filion, porgy and triggerfish from Abundant Seafood, Rio Bertolini pasta, Thornhill Farm eggs, Happy Cow Creamery cheeses, freshly made chicken stock, seasonal organic produce, and much more. They also pre-make dishes that vary with availability. Recently, we saw chicken breast with beets and greens alongside fettucine with English peas, pea tendrils, and basil. A one-time $15 membership fee will be added to your first purchase. You can also sign up for the Thornhill Farm CSA, which will start off its spring season on April 18, delivering anywhere from 5-9 lb. of fresh produce to customers around the Lowcountry. —Stephanie Barna
