I have to second Kelli Jean's opionion that Basil's dining experience was simply appalling!!! The food itself was good, but the Customer Service was poor on several levels, and to have the Manager treat us the way she did was the "Nail in the Coffin" so to speak. Not only were we feeling rushed to get out of there after paying the bill, which came immediately after we were finished eating (they didn't try to upsell us any individual desserts or after dinner drinks), but to have the staff literally take the chair out from under one of our dinner mates (I don't think she was even fully standing), and then have the manager rudely dismiss us and tell us that we could go next door if we wanted to have drinks, because they were working on a 1 hour wait, was incredulous! I have NEVER experienced anything like that at any other establishment! I was truly in SHOCK! It was basically "Thank you for your money, now LEAVE!" Except the phrase "Thank you" wasn't actually used during our departure. This was my first experience at Basil and it WILL BE MY LAST!
