Re: “Ye Olde Fashioned

@Los Super Saturn, I would have to disagree. My wife is a local and we love to stop in during the summers and get an ice cream. I have never had a bad experience getting a scoop in a bowl with sprinkles.

Re: “Betty's Eatery starts serving milkshakes, burgers, and nostalgia on Monday

Loved Aya. Sorry to see it go but I have faith this place will be a great replacement. Kelly and Tony can make anything great.

Re: “Panhandling Whack-A-Mole

My wife and I had a "staycation" downtown a few weeks ago. At night, the panhandling was aggressive. When I turned people down they would shout obscenities at us as if I had condemned their children to a lifetime of working in the coal mines for meager earnings. One guy even followed us until we went into a restaurant. Point is, they way it's working now isn't working. Imagine if instead of accosting my wife and I it was a restaurant employee returning to their car late one evening. I know I wouldn't feel safe being accosted like this by myself late at night.

Re: “Mex 1 Coastal Cantina is bringing its tacos and tequila to Mt. Pleasant

@Andrea, don't worry, Mex 1 is garbage. Every time I have been to the SI location the food is terrible. Carmen y Juans is the best mexican in mt p, no contest.

Re: “Brew's Next: Dog friendly breweries, North Charleston edition

Rule of thumb, never have your dog unleashed in a public area. Especially if you classify them as a "naughty dog". This is why dogs aren't allowed at Coast and Holy City anymore. Be more responsible.
