I can't tell you how many times a month I went to Your Place when I was at CofC. I love how they always had sweet tea in big colored tupperware pitchers. The bathroom doors had signs that said "inboards" and "outboards." I still miss it all the time. Simple, to-the-point, and perfect.
Cannonborough has become almost unlivable during the past few weeks and CofC is responding to the complaints in the appropriate way. Students have been passed out on the sidewalks and carted off in ambulances. Parties of THREE HUNDRED have been reported to the cops on Monday nights. Day drinking has been shut down over and over and the police can barely keep up. I commend the administration for doing the right thing.
This is a very confusing article... you talk about how King Street wasn't a musical Oasis and then mention the Recovery Room (ON King St) and Redux, Music Farm, and Charleston Music Hall, which are all less than a block from King Street each. Which is it, exactly?
I was online to buy at 10:10am and they were ALL gone. 10 minutes after going on sale. INSANE! Thanks for playing more, Jump! (hint - come back for good!!)
Re: “New Halloween remake to begin filming in Charleston”
Here's Danny McBride's explanation:
"You know, it's not a remake. It's actually, it's gonna continue the story of Michael Myers in a really grounded way. And for our mythology, we're focusing mainly in the first two movies and what that sets up and then where the story can go from there."
