Re: “Changes to S.C. film incentive policies worry many

our incentives are so weak compared to other regional competitors. Georgia alone brought in $900+ million dollars in economic impact to their state in the 2008-2009 fiscal year, while we in SC, who spearheaded a lot of the incentives in this region with our "competitive" incentives in 2005, now are cutting the same incentives, and letting big projects that will bring a huge economic to our state move to Louisiana, Georgia, and North Carolina.

This in hand with cutting basic funding for the arts in our public schools is enough to make me realize that our state government is ignorant to the benefit of the arts economically in this state.

Re: “Could Closed for Business' Pork Slap be the new muffaletta?

I stopped by C4B last night to give this thing a shot, and the review is right, it surely is delicious... however, maybe it was just my luck, but my pork was extremely tough, to the point where my teeth couldnt bite it without completely dissecting my sandwich, so i reverted to fork and knife. My dining companion didn't seem to have the same problem however, so it may have been an anomaly.

nonetheless, the flavors blend magnificently, the bread is delicious, and even the twice baked potato was awesome. I hope next time the pork isn't as tough, but ill be there to try it again for sure. And I enjoyed my PBR.

Re: “Local filmmakers caught in the middle of film-fest squabble

"Sorry Mr Tilden that you are trying to cheat the public."

Wow, you seem to be confused. Although I've been enjoying this back and forth, I've had nothing to do with it since its been cleared up. You may have noticed you haven't heard from me at all since the issue was "resolved". You should try to not make false accusations, it makes you look very petty.
