Re: “Updated: The mystery of Alvin Greene solved

I heard a great theory that Rawl actually got Greene into the race so that his allowed contributions from individuals would be higher ($1,000 x 2 for a contested primary and general election). Check it out.

Re: “Jenny Sanford hits campaign trail with Nikki Haley

And your factual support for this comment is......? I am surprised at your claiming to have first hand knowledge of what her "religion" was and what time she changed it. I am guessing you looked at her parents' national origin (India) and made a racist assumption about her "religion." She is very vocal about her personal relationship with Christ. I do not know when she turned to Jesus, but you have a remarkable presumption about you to declare her motivation. I have seen you post the identical talking point elsewhere (at least I think it's you or maybe it's a meme from another campaign).

Re: “Nikki Haley's national appeal is worth watching

I wouldn't characterize her message as limited to "small government" at all. That's inaccurate. In fact, her primary emphases has been cleaning up government with transparency and accountability and increasing individual freedom. The former issue totally distinguishes her from the other three establishment candidates and resonates incredibly with voters that actually hear about this. She fought and won transparency legislation in the House to cure the General Assembly's addiction to voting off the record in almost every case. She introduced the legislation against the wishes of Bobby Harrell and the Republican leaders who said they would control what constituents knew about how they voted and she should drop it. She didn't and they stripped her of all her leadership positions. If the media would report this issue, Nikki Haley would be very hard to beat.
