Indigo Girls in local studio clip

Footage of the Atlanta folk-rock duo at Charleston Sound

The Grammy Award-winning, Atlanta-based folk/pop duo the Indigo Girls visited town last week for a concert at Daniel Island's Family Circle Magazine Tennis Center's new Veranda.

Before the performance (Sat. Sept. 26), the two Indigo songwriters — Amy Ray and Emily Saliers — made it over to Mt. Pleasant for a pre-concert studio session sponsored by The Bridge at 105.5 at Charleston Sound Studios.

In front of a small studio audience, they performed songs off the new album Poseidon and the Bitter Bug. Charleston Sound posted a clip of their version of "Love of Our Lives" on YouTube. You can see engineer Jeff Hodges at the helm in the control room, too.
