Re: “Chef Swap: changes at Amen Street

Dear Ms. Barna,

How did you score a journalism gig at the City Paper and who authorized the publication of this article? I am a native Charlestonian and foodie; and until now, I held the City Paper reviews and/or news flashes in great esteem. I was highly offended that I wasted my time on this gibberish, incomplete thought, of an article or update or whatever you call this amateur waste of space. Allow me to finish for you: Chef Ollard is doing epic things at Amen Street. I've become a frequent Amen Street patron, and I am impressed with each visit. Chef Ollard has improved the menu by replacing the trite with a very original, fabulous, and careful selection. Whether this Lowcountry gal wants a quality piece of fish at a reasonable price, or a little local atmosphere for a drink, Amen Street is the go to and the gettin is only gettin better!
