Holy City Farms’ husband and wife owners, Shawn and Elizabeth Ransford grow only tomatoes. In fact, their passion is to provide Charleston with the best tomato possible. The Ransfords’ tomato project is all about distinctive taste, sustainability, and the banishment of synthetic pesticides. They use a hydroponic growing system to grow year-round and provide to establishments like Fat Hen, Wild Olive, High Cotton, and Peninsula Grill. Find their glorious fruit at the Johns Island Farmers Market every Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
