Re: “Understanding terrorism is necessary to prevent it

While all the sane people in the world don't believe in the initiation of force, especially deadly, is in any way the moral or practical way to right a wrong it certainly should not deter any of us to 'carry a big stick'.

We've also heard of the thought of using a two-by-four to get the attention of those who aren't listening. That seems to evoke some gratifying emotions, as well, but does not solve the underlying problems.

Our tea parties are meant to be the proverbial 'two-by-four'. But these rallies are demonized by the media and politicians and participants are painted with the "terrorist" brush. That seems to be the only positive effect in that we are at least being noticed.

So, the answer, IMHO, is to ramp up the pressure with ever increasing volumes of peaceful, persistent protests and then use our 'really big stick' at the polls flushing the pompous, arrogant, corrupt and evil political gangsters out of office.

At the same time, be sure to bear arms for the very reason our forefathers, in their infinite wisdom based on the history that keeps repeating itself, to be ready for the knocks on our doors and the 'show me your papers' roadblocks that are not only imminent, but becoming more and more prevalent under the guise of "public safety".

And, last but not least, don't for one moment not think that *those in power* are not the ones responsible for fomenting radical rebellion. *They* won't focus any attention on *themselves* or take any responsibility for *their own* actions. *Their* solution to such abhorrent actions as murder is to remove everyone's right to protect themselves so that *they* can't become the victims after *they* repeatedly cross the limits prescribed by our Constitution.

Let's place the blame where it belongs. Make November 2nd count *them* out.
