High Cotton 10-Year Anniversary

When: Nov. 9-13 2009
On Monday night, High Cotton kicks off a week of specials to celebrate its tenth anniversary.

On Wednesday night, they’ll host a wine dinner, featuring Italian wines that have received the prestigious Tre Bicchieri Award. The dinner will be hosted by Laura DePasquale, one of the very few female master sommeliers in the world, and guests will have an exclusive opportunity to taste and savor wines that are usually not available for retail purchase. Wines by the bottle will be pre-sold at the event in limited quantities.

Other High Cotton anniversary specials include a $35 three-course menu each night in addition to the regular menu, half-priced food at the bar from 4-7 p.m., and complimentary spirit tastings at the bar on Thurs. and Fri.

The restaurant will also be selling $5 raffle tickets for a private five-course wine dinner for six guests. One hundred percent of the raffle proceeds will be donated to the Brett Maynard Scholarship Fund at Trident Technical College Culinary Institute of Charleston.
