Re: “Stegelin's Weekly Cartoon

It’s nice how you injected race by showing a poor black child and a white child with a fist full of money; are you not guilty of racial stereotyping? I guess, as long as you’re suggesting that white children are wealthy and unfairly privileged, any racial stereotypes you used to convey that message can be forgiven. Ask only what your country can do for you, don't worry about responsibility when you can demand something for free and accuse racism until you get it. If you socialize the school system and then dumb it down so that everyone is equal, you do not then get to complain when your resultant population is primarily lazy, unmotivated and/or stupid and turns out to be an insufficient base from which tax revenues are generated to continue funding the schools. Lucky for you, you can blame Sanford and label him a racist for attempting to do something which may eventually break your cycle of dependency. The Tuition Tax Credit is not free money from the government as your moronic cartoon would suggest; if you made enough money to pay taxes, you might eventually learn what a tax credit is and how they work. Something is not true simply because you’ve drawn a racist cartoon suggesting that it is; your work shows only how uninformed the author/cartoonist is, you must be a product of the local public school system.
