Think about this- there will be no alternative air and water supply from which climate deniers can choose. Do take a look at the science for your sake and that of your family or future family.

The financial challenges in Detroit began during the economic meltdown created by a prior administration's policies. Civilizations are made notable by the visual and cultural arts they create and accrue. Detroit should show high regard for saving their art collections in lieu of spending a fortune to build a sports arena.

Mr. Moredock is spot on about the recent Seisquicentennial commemoration - the events were impressive and encouraged deeper thought about the war and its meaning. The lectures were exceptional and as noted, scholars covered all aspects of the war, and acknowledged that slavery was indeed a primary cause of the conflict. My hope is that the conversation will continue in a positive and informative way.
