Harry Potter Magical Outdoor Movie Premiere

When: Thu., Nov. 18 2010
Price: $10
The Harry Potter book series ended in 2007. The theme park’s been open since June. And soon enough, there won’t even be any movies left to anticipate. That’s why you need to go to Cinebarre’s party in celebration of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and make it count, ’cause you only got one left after this. “If you want to just go and watch the movie you have several choices,” says Cinebarre General Manager Kris Keisling. “If you want to experience the movie, get your blanket, chair, and join in at Cinebarre’s premiere event of the year.” Starting at nightfall, the movie theater’s parking lot will transform into Hogwarts and Diagon Alley, but without the threat of Death Eaters. Get yourself a free wand and participate in wizardly activities like a psychic reader, a wizard magician, and a fire entertainer, plus some muggle-friendly stuff like a moon bounce and face painting. A DJ will spin magical music, and there’ll be costume, trivia, and flavored jelly bean contests. The refreshments will also come straight from the story; we hope there’ll be butterbeer and chocolate frogs. At midnight, the film will premiere. —Susan Cohen
