Halloween in the BOOroughs

When: Sat., Oct. 20, 5-7 p.m. 2012
Having the right to stuff your baby into adorable Halloween costumes that make them look like tiny farm animals, vegetables, or candy is one of the perks of parenthood. And there’s no better place to show off your cute little cow/pumpkin/candy corn than one of Charleston’s most popular family Halloween celebration, Halloween in the BOOroughs. Despite the name, there won’t be many boos at this kid-friendly festival. Youngsters can create boo-tiful sidewalk chalk art, play games, and get their faces painted while grown-ups celebrate with cornhole and drink specials from festival sponsor FUEL. The event always gets a huge turnout, so get there early. You don’t want to miss out on your share of the Halloween candy.
