Guest Chef Series with Seamus Mullen

Chef Seamus Mullen knows Spanish food. He opened Tertulia, a restaurant inspired by the cider houses in Northern Spain, in New York in August 2011, but he wasn’t content with just one Spanish-style restaurant. Mullen recently opened El Colmado, a tapas and wine bar at Gotham West Market in Hell’s Kitchen. And now the Lowcountry has the chance to hear what it is about Spain and Spanish food that Mullen loves when he stops by L’Atelier de Le Creuset. At the demo, Mullen will prepare carrot soup, steamed corn with clams and bacon, and blackberry and almond crumble, all recipes from his cookbook, Hero Foods. “His cookbook focuses on clean, healthy eating-inspired from his travels and time spent in Spain,” says Le Creuset’s Grimsley Matkov.
