Feelin' groovy

If the couple from down the hall has been bugging you about that double date you drunkenly agreed to, appease their demands by heading to West Theater Company, which features happy-go-lucky slapstick shows in a cabaret style setting. Their newest show, Groovy Kinda Love, follows Mona, a solitary and slightly awkward radio DJ who is on the verge of losing her floral-themed radio show, “Flower Hour.” To add to the intensity of the situation, the psychologist who is slotted to replace her, Dr. Neddy Neddenheimer, is the object of her desire. “All of our shows are very high energy, there are lots of laughs. We always, always, always aim to make the shows as happy as possible,” Stephen Wayne, owner of West Theater Co. says, “That’s just become our niche. People just seem to feel better walking out than when they came in.” Enjoy the show with the theater’s signature lemon sorbet cocktails.
