Great piece, Jack. But to me, it's very simple. Remember in 2001, (actual date, 9/10/01) - Rumsfeld had a press conference and stated that the Pentagon could not account for 2.3 TRILLION dollars? What percentage of the budget is that? Heck, what percentage of the DEBT is that? If the Pentagon (military) can only keep track of what it loses, the budget could be balanced VERY quickly. How soon we forget... guess it's down the "memory hole".... but here:

And voting for anyone but Ron Paul in the next election (Primaries, People!) is a vote for nothing but more of the same. And to the defense contractor: Thanks for being honest. I bet that we can create as many jobs in freedom, prosperity and peace, as in endless war. :)
