Re: “Two Man Gentleman Band jump and jive at Eye Level

"Manhattan-based ’60s-inspired folk parody act." Uhh you got everything wrong except the "Act" part. The Two Man Gentlemen Band originally hail from Queens, NY, but now split their time between Los Angeles, CA and your very own Charleston. As for '60s-inspired, I question whether you have even heard a single TMGB song. For a decade of reference, the 1920's or prior seems more apt. While folk is a pretty all-encompassing genre, jazz is a little more descriptive of the TMGB sound. Yes, the TMGB like to write humorous songs about abstract mathematical subjects, and obscure historical events, but parody these are not. I suggest attending a TMGB show, your ideas about music may just change a little.
