Tina Fey. Tommy Lee. Full House’s Jesse Katsopolis. What do all these people have in common? They’re all Greek. And we’re all thankful that they exist. So celebrate the cultural offerings of the country at the annual Greek Festival downtown. There will be plenty of delicious cuisine (including the standards, gyros and kebobs) and Greek wine. Two live bands will perform Greek music, and there will be folk dancing performances, cultural exhibits, and vendors. The festival’s host, the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, will give tours of their facilities, highlighting ecclesiastic history, music, art, and prayer. So praise Dionysus for the fun and blast some Mötley Crüe in the country’s honor. —Caitlyn Chimento
