Goo Goo Dolls reemerge

The Buffalo-born pop-rock band play the PAC in April

Platinum-selling, chart-topping alt-pop trio Goo Goo Dolls — singer/guitarist John Rzeznik, bassist/singer Rob Takac, and drummer Mike Malinin— are remembered for such radio staples as "Name," "Iris," "Slide," and "Here is Gone."

Their ninth studio album will be released by Warner Bros. Records this year, just in time for a national tour. They headline the North Charleston Performing Arts Center on Sat. April 24 behind a new album titled Something for the Rest of Us — follow-up to 2006's Let Love In.

Tickets are available for $35 at the Coliseum box office, all Ticketmaster outlets (including select Publix grocery stores), by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or online at ticketmaster.com and coliseumpac.com.
