Re: “S.C. Republicans determined to disenfranchise black voters

This use of a birth certificate as proof of citizenship is absurd. I was born in Michigan. I am not a U.S. Citizen. The Vital Records office in Michigan insists that my birth certificate is simply a record of my birth and therefore only apply any notiation negativing its value as a "certificate of citizenship". I believe that this is the same for all the States.

Hence, when voter registrars, drivers license bureaus, univerisites and all the rest accept a Birth Certificate as a Ceritificate of Citizenship they are deluding themselves into a false sense of security. The States are also opening the door to id theft and fraud, as the names of all those born in the US who are not Citizens are published and would make prime pickings for illegal aliens looking for someone to impersonate.

Re: “FITSNews claims Thomas Ravenel renounces U.S. citizenship

Renunciation of U.S. Citizenship based on my experiences is liberating, it is like a spiritual rebirth. Statelessness as well, is liberating. Remember, all U.S. Born Americans, have an involuntary allegiance to the US. You didn't make that choice out of free will.

If Thomas Ravenel actually renounced, then he can show you his Certificate of Loss of Nationality of the United States. You can see mine here: http://glr.com/cln

Re: “Best Attempt by a U.S. Citizen to Renounce His Citizenship

Not sure who T. Rav is, but it is really easy to renounce your U.S. Citizenship. For example, check out this book: http://glr.com/80ae
