I see plenty of posts using a logical basis for its arguments for the brewery, it's choice in product name and it's path seeking legitimacy but I am here to tell you, as a Charleston native, as a Geechee....I ain't never heard of this group they sought their "ok".

Where was the focus group? Was this the only means of "approval" sought? How does tagging this product Gullah bring honor my community? Will contributions from the sales be given to Sea Island interests?

I'm all for craft beer, small business and successful business. But why fight for something that isn't yours. If the product is that good you could call it "Carolina crab water" and it will still sell. *that's a freebie* You don't need to use my culture as trendy marketing device.
