Is this about separating richer areas from poorer areas so that the rich kids can have better schools?

Re: “The Agenda: Thousands face higher Obamacare premiums; MUSC in N. Charleston; James Brown case frozen

If the Supreme Court says the subsidies are illegal, then young, healthy people will drop their policies. The insurance companies will be left with too many sick people. The real problem is that the insurance companies may not be able to raise their rates in time to avoid major losses. Their only recourse may be to CANCEL ALL INDIVIDUAL INSURANCE POLICIES in South Carolina. They aren't allowed to cancel only the ones they want to cancel. It's all individual policies or no individual policies.

Re: “Insta-Classic: Nikki Haley's unfortunate social media undershare

The tweet had it right -- our dear governor's actions seem not really interested in educating our children, but she is certainly interested in getting re-elected.

Re: “The Agenda: Law could relax beach building rules; Robert Ford fined; Folly gator euthanized

Anybody who thinks relaxed beach construction is a good idea should drive down to Edisto and look at the beach front houses. Many of them are close to falling into the Ocean now. A good storm could take them out to sea.

And who pays the property owner for building on unstable dunes? The taxpayer, of course!

Re: “The Agenda: Judge calls off Harrell grand jury; Local GOP "censures" Graham; Va. gay marriage arguments

The Charleston Republicans ought to support a robot for Senate. Then they won't have to worry about bothersome details, such as trying to actually get legislation passed.
