Weekend Roundup: This is Halloween

The best events in Charleston Oct. 31-Nov. 2

It's here! It's here! Halloween has arrived, and we've got you covered on what to do. But that's only Friday, and the rest of the weekend has a bountiful number of events.

Friday Check out our roundup of where to go to get down tonight.

But if you've got kids in tow, there's always Halloween in the Boo-roughs or the Ghostly Get Together at Bees Landing.

The Mill also hosts a spooktacular musical show.

And local breweries Freehouse and Revelry are also getting in the spirit.

Saturday We're not going to lie, we're usually feeling a little less than stellar the day after Halloween. In fact, we normally feel dead. So it's only appropriate that there's two Day of the Dead parties that help to cure us of our ails. Head to Basico and rock out to Lectra Lust. Or if you're more in the mood for a Brazilian-themed event, Mex 1 Coastal Cantina is the place for you.

Perhaps yoga is the best way to make yourself feel more alive. High Wire hosts a Day of the Dead yoga sesh that ends with two cocktails.

Head to Mullet Hall for a harvest festival.

Get some laughs at Theatre 99 when TJ Dawe takes over that stage.

It's Park Day and a Day of Giving on Daniel Island.

We've all got to eat. Why not eat some delicious yums at the Predator and Prey dinner at Fish.

The fair kicked off on Wednesday. Get your fried food fix in this weekend — or anytime through Nov. 9.

Sunday Beer and books seems like a good way to end the weekend. Blue Bicycle has author Jason Ryan stopping by to launch his latest book.

Shuck some oysters for a good cause at the East Cooper Meals on Wheel oyster roast.

Raise money for Florence Crittenton while sipping some wine and shopping.

Swedish duo First Aid Kit performs at the Music Farm.

See what the young talent has created at Threshold Repertory Theatre's Young Playwright Showcase.
