Happy almost Hallo-week, Charleston. From art exhibits to live music to plenty of Halloween fun for the whole family, we've got your free events covered.

Monday

Have you checked out the Halsey's new exhibit, Southbound? It's free to walk through the exhibit and there are a ton of corresponding, free events. Be sure to check them all out online.

Free music on the Pour House deck is even nicer in cooler temps. Listen to the Holy City Heaters at 6 p.m.

Name the Music Trivia takes place at Mainland Container Co. Kitchen & Bar from 6:30-9 p.m.

Tuesday

Head to the Music Hall for the premiere of End Child Trafficking at 6:30 p.m.

Cutty's hosts a comedy night on the fourth Tuesday of every night at 8 p.m.

On Tuesdays you can check out Soup & Storytelling at the Butterfly Book Nook at 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday

Check out the stars with astronomy at Brittlebank Park every Wednesday from 5-9 p.m.

One of our fave cover bands, The Midnight City Band, performs at Bay Street Biergarten at 6 p.m.

Get your Halloween celebrations going early at Fam's Brewing Co. for their Evil Dead themed trivia at 8 p.m. (and try out their Pumpkin Scream beer).

Thursday

Join the public in speaking out against sexual violence at Philip Simmons Park for Take Back the Night at 6:30 p.m.

The Grace Project, a series of empowering portraits by Charise Isis, debuts at three Charleston galleries from 5-8 p.m.

Ain't no party like a pumpkin carving contest at Poe's Tavern from 5-9 p.m.

Friday

Celebrate Halloween at Low Tide Brewing starting at 7 p.m.

Trick or Treat in Hampton Park from 4-6 p.m.

St. Andrews Parks and Playground presents its annual Halloween Carnival from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Check out Paul Cristina's new solo show, Down Into Folds, opening at Beresford Studios from 5-8 p.m.

Saturday

Workshop's Boo Fest has everything you need — face painting, live entertainment, kids' specials, a dog costume contest, and more. Be sure to hit up the Workshop Farmer's Market before or after you get spooky.

Freshfields Village's Dogtoberfest features dogs, a pet expo, and local rescue groups from 1-5 p.m.

Get down at The Shelter with a lost at sea Halloween themed party.

Did somebody say Halloween Comic Fest at Captain's Comics? Yep, get there starting at 11 a.m.

Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre hosts its Fall Festival, with family- and pet-friendly activities, jump castles, face painting, and more from 12-3 p.m.

Sunday

There are few better ways to end the weekend than with some swing dancing at Prohibition at 6:30 p.m.

Celadon's Sunday Flea is held the last Sunday of every month and includes makers, artists, and vendors.

The Sunday Brunch Farmers Market at Pour House is never not fun, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
