Re: “All-You-Can-Eat Quail Night

Yay Quail!! So glad you guys keep up this tradition, as well as continue to support local farmers like Manchester. We'll definitely be there to enjoy the local fare as well as pick up a copy of your new cookbook!!

Re: “Fall Tasting Dinner

Just checked out the menu on and am so excited about the dinner!! Are you kidding: Benton ham with local mushrooms and fresh housemade pasta? I can't wait! We love The Glass Onion for their commitment to sustainability and seasonal eating, but the real draw is their fresh and creative approach to the wonderful food of the Lowcountry.

Re: “Prix Fixe Julia Menu

Last year was spectacular--I've already made my reservation for this Saturday and I can't wait! Love how The Glass Onion celebrates love of food everyday through their local focus, and now by paying homage to this pioneer of American cooking.

Re: “Farmers' Bounty Dinner

I'll definitely be attending this one. Just went on and it looks wonderful; plus it's always such a great deal. I love their take on Southern food, but I will most certainly be having the eggplant parmesan--try it, it's the best ever!

Re: “Finding the good life in your own backyard

Very inspiring article! That your back-yard garden's fruits and vegetables are less expensive and more nourishing, I think, is really the secondary benefit. Few things are as richly gratifying as enjoying food that your time, study, and energy helped to create. And when yielded as a family, it forges a tradition that is, indeed, priceless.
