Re: “Here’s why protesters shut down the Ravenel Bridge Wednesday

Do white lives matter or is that racist for me to ask because I'm PART white? Last year twice as many whites were killed by police than blacks, the number of black on white crime is insane but white on black crime is less than .01% so clearly violence against whites is much higher and is a much bigger problem. Here is my beef with the protestors not one of these groups is showing concern for all lives and until I see that they may as well be a part of the black panthers who want to kill all white women and their babies.

Re: “Protesters threaten to shut down Ravenel Bridge toward Mt. Pleasant at 4 p.m.

As a community member I only support our local protesting groups who take a nonviolent peaceful stance that is respectful to ALL LIVES such as our local NAACP charleston branch, SC black Caucus and the local activist with National Action Network. I do not support #blacklivesmatter because of their non peaceful protesting practices that hurt innocent people in ferguson and our now hurting innocent people in my own community. If you are a member of our community please pass this on and ask them to pass it on as well. That we are united in our stance for peace for all and due to #blacklivesmatter's continued disrespect to our community, and violent, inhumane, uncivil protesting practices we ask them to leave and we will be asking our local law enforcement to help rebuild the bridges by protecting us from this violent protesting group and to also protect our local protesting groups while they continue to do their work to improve our community. They have always been peaceful and we as a community will only respect those who respect us and our home. #blacklivesmatter is using such a tragic event as basically an excuse to commit crime and live off of donated money in the name of a cause that they have done nothing as far as working with politicians to do. Please anyone who wishes to protest right now only show support for our local groups as they care about our hometown. #blacklivesmatters does not care about the mess they leave behind and their continued non-peaceful stance and disrespect to our citizens & community is proof of that. I'd also like to thank NAACP and Black Caucus for being peaceful leaders in our community and always showing respect to us all. It has earned our respect and it is their voices that we are hearing, supporting, and that are making a difference. ♥ #PeacefulLeadershipinWalterScottsHonor

Re: “Walter Scott protest: ‘This is a season for us to speak out’

To all of the protestors I'm sure are to follow I hope that they know that The majority of the community and police officers are on the victims side. May we all lead by peaceful example and follow the families wishes to push for change such as the the body cameras through peaceful actions and take a firm stand against violence. I especially respect the family and attorneys stance that this is much bigger than race it is about respecting human life, and their wish to not have any ferguson type of protest that will interfere with their case, to allow them to peacefully work with the judicial system to achieve justice at this time. Many prayers to this mans family. I hope as a community we all lead by peaceful example and respect the families wishes, and honor his life in the ways the family has requested us to do. May the family find peace from the many positive changes that I'm sure are to come from this and not have to see any more lives taken in the name of what one very bad man did. ♥ #PeacefulLeadershipinWalterScottsHonor
