Charlestoner, how do the rich and the powerful trample the poor and the weak?

The rich certainly try to use government force to make them richer, that certainly is trampling the weak, it's also called Corporatism, not Libertarianism.

In a Libertarian world, we'd have fifty states, and those fifty states would be under a federal government with a light touch and a very narrow range of powers as it was intended to have, and these fifty states, in a perpetual state of rise and decline in relation to one-another would make and find their own adjustments to their own problems, for their own unique demographics.

In a "Libertarian world", even the Communists and the Socialists and the Liberals and the religious extremists would have their own jurisdiction to practice their policies in, as long as they stick to their own states.
