Re: “A poor schmuck navigates the world of rich bastard burgers

p.s. if you are in Columbia sometime try Tombo Grille in Forest Acres - they have a terrific hand-ground all-beef burger. And on Monday nights it includes a delicious cold beer! The first time I discovered it our family went four times in one week... :) And Robert it'll pass your test of simplicity - they let the meat speak for itself!

Re: “A poor schmuck navigates the world of rich bastard burgers

Just for the record, because so many people ask - Pawley's Caw Caw Creek Burger does not contain any Caw Caw Creek farm products.... Since the chef who developed the menu and that burger name once worked for longtime Caw Caw Creek friend and collaborator Mike Lata at FIG, one might assume it was a slight-of-hand slipped into a lineup of other more well-known Low Country places. It is hopefully an odd coincidence without untoward intent. However, because our brand name is now (again) uncomfortably associated with a less-than-stellar review of a food product in a false way, we will formally request that Pawley's remove our name from their product.
