A place popular with the suburban crowd up in Summerville, Eileen's can make for a good choice if you find yourself stuck on the north end of Dorchester Road. Tucked into a strip mall just off Bacon's Bridge Road, they sport a cozy little bar with a great staff (who stir up a mean martini). Originally, they were touted for their crab cake, but we've found that they really excel at standard bistro fare: butcher steaks, pasta specials, simply prepared fresh fish, and the like. If your tastes lean toward the simpler things, and you enjoy a stiff drink before dinner service, then Eileen's might be the perfect stopover. —Jeff Allen, Dish (Winter 2012)
