This definitely makes us evil humans, but our favorite Stevie Wonder memory is when he was left sitting at his piano at the Grammy’s waiting for someone to escort him off stage. We can’t help ourselves. But then we think about all of his hits, and we think nicer thoughts — like “Superstition,” “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours,” and “Higher Ground.” And who could forget that ode to racial harmony, “Ebony and Ivory,” written with Sir Paul McCartney. That song’s message of cooperation and giving is just what the Music Farm is honoring with its sixth annual Ebony and Ivory Bash. Admittance to the 21 and over event is half off with a donation of five canned goods or a pet toy. This year, One Kool Blow, The Soul Mites, and David Higgins as well as special guest DJ Magnetik will perform jams as guests celebrate the Lowcountry Food Bank and Pet Helpers.
