Re: “Seven-story development at corner of King and Spring streets gains final approval

This looks like a shopping mall in Atlanta. The last thing it should be called is elegant.

Re: “Confessions of a Southern Charm newbie: Ep 8

Amazing. My friend did run actually into Patricia doing a mundane errand in Charleston - grocery shopping. Well, actually she was walking around Whole Foods with her butler Michael who was dressed in an apron actually putting all the food in the cart for her, if that even counts as mudane...

Re: “Stavrinakis plays 'Mother Emanuel' card in response to Deerin campaign ad

This is a terrible article. Correction: anyone who has lived in a major city can see how deficient Charleston is when it comes to public transportation. No one "deserves" a terrible commute - what is both ridiculous and archaic about Charleston is that there is no other way for anyone to commute reliably into the city center EXCEPT by car. Re: “The Capobiancos should stop fighting for custody of Baby Veronica

I wonder if the author of this article actually has children. Because if he does, he would know that two years into caring for a baby and then a toddler, biological or not, creates and incredible lifetime bond. My daughter is just a few months shy of the age Veronica was when she was removed from her adopted family and if that were to happen to me I would never give up on getting her back. I would literally die of a broken heart if someone took her away from me now. Shame on Chris for suggesting her adopted parents to pretend "She doesn't exist" for them - we all know when love is involved that is impossible.
