Re: “The smoky meats are promising, but some of Swig & Swine's dishes could use improvement

As someone who travels a lot and eats a tremendous amount of 'Q all over the country, I can tell you that Swig and Swine has some of the best offerings not only in this state, but just about anywhere else as well. Point of fact, I seriously doubt you can find another joint in within S.C. that regularly produces the same style of BBQ with their level of quality. I've been to just about every BBQ joint in this State and I can't think of a single place that comes close to Swig and Swine's brisket, hot links, pulled pork etc. So, their sides are ok, who cares? Who says, "I want to go eat great BBQ and drink good bear at such and such place because they have fantastic cole slaw." ?

You obviously, went on an off-night, I think it would be well worth yours and your reader's time if you went again and gave it another go. (Full disclosure, I have no affiliations to Swig and Swine, it's owners or staff. I'm just a fan of good local spots.)
