Re: “Jacques Larson maintains the magic at Wild Olive

Without a doubt the most complete food experience anywhere not "technically" in charleston...I think I may go as far as to say its the best Italian food in or out of town...Lucca is good, Fulton Five has its following, and Mercato is its own little world, but The Olive is simply great in all the right places. My two Charleston guilty pleasures are Taco Boy and Wikd Olive

Re: “Juanita Greenberg's opening soon in Mt. P

Both comments obviously forget the cardinal rule of posting reviews on a local newspaper website. Everyone knows when you've never been to a restaurant and all you want to do is bash what you don't know.

While Juanita Greenberg's isn't even holding a candle to some of the even more middle-of-the-road Mex/Mex food in the greater ChuckTown area (see. Santi's / Taco Boy / Acme Cantina / Uno Mas )...it's a dang good addition to the Mount Pleasant scene. The building is awesome and the margaritas are far above crap.

Re: “Marc Knapp's last run

Seabrook...perhaps before you bash Property and Resident tax amounts paid from Seabrook and Kiawah residents, one should slow down, re-evaluate the numbers you pay compared to Penninsula residents, and then remember that little or none of your private gated community requests go unnoticed due to separate and AllMighty POA and Board groups...Secondly before bashing SpartAnburg, you should really learn to spell.
