Re: “The joy's still there for Three Dog Night

Thanks for all the details on this TDN saga, Ted. I believe every word of this, having read Chuck Negron's autobiography TWICE. However, I'm still shocked that Danny Hutton refuses to even pick up the phone & give both Chuck & Floyd Sneed a call - even after losing two more original "Dogs" with Jimmy Greenspoon & Cory Wells. These three men are well up into their years - they are all in their mid-seventies. Danny should seriously pick up that phone & reunite with the other three surviving "Dogs" (the other being Mike Allsup (who's in the current version of TDN with Danny) before it's really, really too late!

Re: “The joy's still there for Three Dog Night

I'm rather appalled Chuck Negron's name was for the most part omitted in this reunion, as he was the one who was the lead vocalist on the lion's share of TDN's major hits. Also, based on articles I've read about TDN, it is Cory Wells who refuses to let Chuck back into the group, not Danny Hutton. Secondly, "The Hall"'s admissions policies are nothing but politics, so it is likely TDN will not receive admission into "The Hall" for years to come (although they have been nominated for 2013). If TDN eventually gets inducted, then only the original members (Chuck included) should be onstage when they give their acceptance speech, due to the fact the original seven members (R.I.P., Joe Schermie) made all those big hits we TDN fans love, plus they've sold over 100 million records to date. These are concrete, conclusive reasons why TDN deserves to be inducted into "The Hall" - Enough said!
