Re: “GOP will get ugly about the Employee Free Choice Act

How reprehensible to make comparisons between honest (if not in your case, uniformed) disagreement about the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) and the fear of “black people” that you intimate exists State-wide in South Carolina. This is one of the most disgusting examples of moral equivalence I’ve seen for a long time. Imagine the audacity of the cretinism effort to diminish the struggle for black rights in this country all in an effort to pass the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA). And, as you share, there’s been virtually no progress for the black residents and their relationship with the management and business owners of South Carolina since the first slave ships arrived ---- uh --- time to wake up, Willy – A black man was elected to the highest office in America. (Oh yeah, that doesn’t count in South Carolina…)

Further you support the ability of the Union to circumvent the right to a secret ballot election regarding employees desire to form a union, and as importantly if interest arbitration is invoked, to have no right to vote on the binding contract that will govern the work place over the ensuing 2-years. Talk about consuming Kool-Aid and spewing ignorance.

If not allowing employees secret ballot election rights to determine whether a union would be formed in workplace is a “good thing”, and protects the workers from the backlash of the horrible employer, how do you moralize that the Unions will NOT support eliminating the secret ballot vote to decertify a union? Or, how would you compare that Unions support secret ballot elections for ALL of the officer positions within organized labor? Wow, yet another inconvenient truth.

You are continuing main-stream media’s dishonest discourse on the events and issues that confront American citizens as you allow your ideology rather than the facts to lead the content of your positions.
