Re: “How presidents address crises with haste, hysteria, and dubious intentions

NOT Mario Delgado

Mario Delgado misses the point entirely. It does not matter if the crisis is real, imagined or manufactured --Heads of state will ALWAYS take an opportunistic approach given a crisis.

Secondly global capitalism is not in crisis. Governments and economies are in financial crisis. Your use of the phrase "global capitalism is in crisis" is just as bad as "global war on terror"....it's meaningless tripe.

Thirdly your last paragraph is simply you indulging your petty and shortsighted peabrain. You think you are the first person to gloat because you think in terms of "us vs them", and now that a Democrat administration is in power, you feel good? That's been going on for decades if not centuries, and it plays right into the hands of the elite. Your last paragraph just goes to show how common you really are. This country is filled with both stupid Republicans and stupid Democrats...thanks for letting us know that you are part of the "me too" club.
