Is that you, Jimmy?

Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, a 1976 play by Ed Graczyk, hits the Footlight stage this weekend. The plot goes like this: Jimmy Dean is James Dean, the star of the film Giant, filmed in Marfa, Texas. 20 years after the fact a group of James Dean groupies, now middle-aged women, gather for a reunion. The gals reminisce on the olden, golden days, with one woman even claiming that her child’s father is James Dean himself. All of a sudden an attractive, strangely familiar stranger comes into town, and well, we won’t give away the rest.
