Re: “I'm still holding out hope that conservatism will triumph

Keep the faith, brother Jack. I'm your mirror image up here in NY's 19th district, and I've devoted the rest of this earthly life to promoting the same goals you have fought for so valiantly for so long. If our Humble Hobbit isn't elected next Nov, hopefully we will at least get Rand Paul another few dozen soldiers to fight alongside him in Congress (me among them!). And even if we, like Garet Garrett, John Flynn, et al before us, only keep the torch lit for the next generation, we too will die in peace knowing that we saw evil, stood up, looked it in the eye, and fought it with all we had.

I'm planning a grassroots, no money campaign with a fiercely independent platform. In a 3 way race I'd be neck and neck with the democrat if I took 60% of Nan Hayworth's vote and got 20% of the John Hall crowd. I have about 200 strong supporters ready to help once I get a website up in the next few months. If they each got 10 people to the website, and that group got 5 each, we'd have a small army mobilized and it could well go viral and bring home a seat for the true patriots.

Fight on!

Re: “Obama and the Democrats deny an age-old economic lesson

Brother, I still remember the day I first stumbled on one of your YouTube missives. We run a tiny private school about a half hour north of NY City and have been teaching the kids (and parents) these things for decades. Parents, not the state, make final decisions about the particulars of everything from how much structure the kids get to how much homework they do. By middle school our students have a better grasp of the principles upon which our nation is founded than most Congressmen. By high school our students know the difference between Austrian and Keynesian economics and are helping me parse the speeches on the Federal Reserve website by Fed Chairmen. Before we opened the school, I spent a year on the road for the New American magazine teaching people about the Godly heritage of our Constitution, and many folks opened up their homes to me. We enjoy returning the good will - we have a spare bedroom and bath for patriots on the road. In exchange for the privilege for gabbing with them and exchanging ideas for fostering the revolution, we throw in a home cooked meal. Our door is open to you or anyone who meets with your stamp of approval as a brother. If you are ever in NY, you are most welcome!

(This summer we hope to spruce up the website and add an entire section on the new revolution.)
