Chef's Potluck

Lowcountry Local First’s Eat Local Month culminates with the Fifth Annual Chef’s Potluck at Middleton Place.

High-profile supporters of farm-to-table fare — FIG, EVO, Slightly North of Broad, the Fat Hen, Social Wine Bar, the Glass Onion, Husk, Two Boroughs Larder, Cru Café, the Grocery, Poogan’s Porch — will partner with local growers and producers to create special dishes and serve them under the oaks at Middleton Place. Firefly will be on hand with cocktails, and there will be local beer and wine.

Purveyors include Abundant Seafood, Blue Pearl Farm, Burden Creek Dairy, Clammer Dave, Cordray’s Livestock and Processing, Hudson Farms, Joseph Fields, Kimberly’s Crabs, Legare Farms, Lowland Farms, Rebellion Farm, Rosebank, Sweetbay Hydroponics, and Vegetable Kingdom.

Bring a lawn chair and some blankets and enjoy live music from the Garage Cuban Band as well as CSA cooking demos. A silent auction featuring an array of experiences and wares from local businesses rounds out the night. Tickets are limited and this event usually sells out.
